Today a closer look at Minot Light is unveiled and a peak at Lawson Tower from Scituate Light is added

You will find these upgrades with the other cameras. Would that it was a better day to look over at Minot Light as there is a higher quality camera pointed that way. I think with the sun up it will be spectacular and as the foliage falls away we will see an even better view of Lawson Tower.

Additionally-I have added the informational banners to the front page of the blog. Hopefully our guests here will use the QR code in the message board to get their questions answered about the Edgerton Bell, the Etrusco Stone, George and Ruth Downton, and the plaque to the “Don’t Give Up the Ship” battle.

I will probably add to that slide show. The restoration of the Lantern room belongs there and people always ask about what it is like to live here in a storm. I am thinking of it as a FAQ page.
