A group visiting Scituate from France stopped by for a quick run into this tower before heading to Lawson Tower. There were pictures taken and rocks thrown into the water.
Sunday saw nearly 200 visitors here for the second open house day. We are very grateful for their generosity. Lots of little kids which is always a blast. Two sisters visited and went home and got their brothers. The day flew by.
Two big questions were offered several times: When will the copper on the light turn green? and Is there any chance of Flying Santa returning? The easy answer to both is that only time will tell.
You will have noticed I have tweaked the look of the blog once again. I am working on a page that will highlight the Etrusco story and needed a new layout to make that happen.
Another add on is a long slide show with a history of the Light. This includes many of the documents and images that have appeared in past talks.
A camera is now directed toward the Etrusco stone as well.

Hope that you continue to enjoy the Word from Scituate Light.
