Update

A quick video and a short update about the gathered crowds this weekend.

Yesterday and man in his fifties was knocked off his pins while up on the revetment. He took the fall well and reported no damage done. Soaked through he said he’d be back for the next tide.

Today a family of three was swamped as they creeped too close to the waves. They stayed for a good hour after and kept creeping back up as the tide rolled back. Three elementary school boys were trying to get wet. They sat on the wall in front of the light and kept sliding up. They were finally rewarded with a good push over wave.

There is a small amount of rock in the road. Its sweepable and I will take a shot at it in the morning.

Here is the promised video. It dawned on me that I had never done a full walk around on the catwalk after the light was relit. I had been up there all through the project taking pictures almost every day but never walked the loop until today. This is what there was to see. The noise is from the wind which was roaring from the south today.

I updated the look of the blog once again as I was finding some pages difficult to read. I hope you find this an improvement. While preparing the video I found out two things I would like to address.

The first is the the Scituate Historical Society YouTube page has 113 subscribers. The Lightkeeper page has but four. I believe we can do better than that. Please consider subscribing to both when you find the time.
