This has become an annual event. One day each summer is so ideal that it has to be captured on video.

Adding to the story are some photos from a walk on the jetty. There is some good news and some bad news as is usual when taking that walk.

The good news is that most of the jetty is in great shape. It is designed to be flat enough and wide enough to carry two trucks. That is all true until you get to this spot twenty yards or so from the spindle. Then the bad news arrives. At that point we see a break that could get bigger with two stones clearly hanging on by a breath. This is a game of Jenga going forward.

People do navigate the break and fish and site see from the spindle. There have been several falls in the past two years though.

With the lens that come with our phones it is now possible to take this picture of Fourth Cliff from the North Jetty. As the tides beat up the jetty they are also tearing apart this cliff.

A final image for the day is this new camera angle from the top of the Light. Note the reflection of the tower in the bulb on the top of the flagpole. This was an unexpected bonus from installing this new camera. Also, note that the blog opens with a weather widget at the top. This was added by request and I will be working on linking it directly to the weather station on the cottage.
